ABOUT
Hamilton Counseling is about relationships; the relationship you have with yourself, with others, and with your therapist. I focus on working with you to build the life that you want for yourself through evidenced-based processes that invite self-reflection, insight, skills to implement change, and empowerment.
My approach to therapy is supportive, non-judgmental, and authentic. During our time together you’ll notice that I ask clarifying questions because I do not want to make assumptions about your experience. I prioritize customizing therapeutic approaches to how you respond to change and what your stated goals are using combinations of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
At any point in this process I encourage questions, and I offer initial complementary 15 minute video appointments to meet. Please contact me to schedule your time to get started.
